Theme: “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread…”
On this feast of our Holy Guardian Angels, we borrow from Alexander Pope, the English poet, his famous lines: “fools rush in where angels fear to tread.” He captured the essence of human folly—our tendency to act rashly without considering the consequences. It’s time to slow down, to be less impetuous and more contemplative in the midst of everyday. Allow our angels to lead us gently in the pursuit of holiness and wholeness.
