SILENT WOMEN'S RETREAT #15
Theme: Living in the Father's Gaze. Learning how to confidently live in the gaze of our Heavenly Father and not hide in shame.
This retreat explores the mystery of being seen by God-how His gaze heals, reveals, and calls into our truest identity. Through Scripture, prayer and reflection, we will contemplate what it means to live under the loving sight of the Father and to see ourselves and others as He sees. Participants will be invited to move from fear and hiding into freedom and communion, learning to rest in the gaze that never condemns but always calls forth life.
Presenter: Fr. Bryce Sibley is a priest of the Diocese of Lafayette. He studied at the Pontifical North American College in Rome and was ordained to the priesthood in 2000. In 2001 he received his Licentiate degree from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family in Rome. After several pastoral assignments, in 2010 he was appointed as pastor and chaplain at Our Lady of Wisdom Church and Catholic Student Center on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he served for 11 years. He now serves as professor of moral theology and spiritual director at Notre Dame Seminary. Over the years he has travelled extensively giving retreats, talks, and workshops.
