This morning is intended to lead us into Breathing through our Grief and Learning to live in our new normal. We grieve with Hope on our Journey together. This will be prayerful, practical and hopefully powerful for us to open our hearts in Hope and Love. In Thessalonians 4:13 it says, " Let us not grieve as others who have no hope." Grief is a natural reaction to loss, how we handle it is our Hope.
Come join us for a weekend retreat with Fr. Joseph Nassal, CPPS. On the journey of faith, a "new creation" is the promise of transformation that comes from God's generous Grace. In this retreat we will learn how we are transformed in the Risen Christ.
God loves us unconditionally means that His love is given to us as a free gift: we cannot earn it nor can we lose it. In the retreat, we will reflect on what this means and whether we truly believe and accept it. If we do, then we will ask ourselves "How do we respond to a God who loves us with an infinite, unconditional love and wants us to call Him 'Father" (Abba)?"
This Retreat is open to men and women who are grieving the loss of someone.(stillborn, miscarriage, child, adult child, spouse, parent, siblings or friends)
It was Socrates who defined 'integrity' as the inner person and the outer person being the same person. Jesus confronts us with a similar challenge: be authentic and avoid hypocrisy (Mt. 23:5). This retreat will explore the implications and ramifications of such a life.
